Building on the tremendous success of the SwissInnovation Challenge which has been conducted in Switzerland for the last two years, FHNW has decided to launch the programme in four ASEAN countries initially: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. To make it happen, FHNW can tap into its extensive network in the region with leading universities, governmental agencies and businesses. Applications from other ASEAN countries are welcome and we will arrange for you to apply for a place in the competition closest to you.
The competition is divided into three phases, each followed by a selection process in the form of pitches. Participants who reach the final phase have the opportunity to win prize money amounting to 23’000 USD in each country. The cash award for the 1st prize is 15’000 USD, for the 2nd and 3rd prize it is 5’000 USD and 3’000 USD, respectively. In addition, you can win the special prize „internationalisation“ worth 5’000 USD which will be awarded to the one project across Asia with the most convincing internationalisation strategy.
